Description

Squid In A Box is an independent videogame developer consisting almost exclusively of 100% freshly squeezed Rob Hale.

History

Early history

Rob Hale has been making AAA videogames since 2001. Highlights include Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Wheelman. During this time he has worked with every version of the Unreal engine and formed a close relationship with Epic Games. When they decided to release the Unreal Development Kit to indie developers it let Rob break out on his own and make the games he always wanted to.

After that

In November of 2011 Squid In A Box released it's first game; Waves, on Steam and hasn't looked back since. Having sold over 40,000 copies of Waves so far the game can be considered a success due to making just enough to avoid having to flip burgers for a real living.
