This sounds very different to the original Waves. I like that you’re not just making the same game with shinier graphics and a couple of half baked new features like some devs would. I’m really interested to see how this new take on Waves will turn out. I spent a lot of time with the original and am really looking forward to this new challenge. I have one slight criticism of Waves that I hope you could address with W:AT. That is that when you reach high levels and are killing lots of enemies at a time, there is a lot of visual noise from the dying enemies which makes it very hard to see where the alive enemies are. This had caused me to die multiple times which can be frustrating. Reducing the death explosion effect would help with this significantly. Other that that, Waves is is a great game that I think has unfortunately been overlooked by too many people. Anyway, keep up the great work and the blog posts. It’s always interesting yo see what devs are up to. Thanks 🙂
